A while back (an embarassing amount of time back, if we're being honest) I got a sample size of Benefit's They're real mascara from Sephora for my birthday.
I created a look with this mascara but before I could post it, my computer was dunzo (10+ points if you get that reference)...but now it's finally here!

As you can see, this mascara CERTAINLY adds length. It does tend to get "spidery" which isn't my faorite thing. But honestly, it's a really great product. When I put on my Maybelline mascara first and then layer They're Real on top, I seem to like it better!

For this look I did something different. Usually I just do a smokey eye or some variation of it. But this time I kept it super simple and just did one color on the lid and one color on the upper lid/crease. I have to say, I love how quick and easy it was!!
Now I'll walk you through the products I used!
First and foremost of course I started with Urban Decay primer potion. I never put makeup on without it!
Next I applied the shade (pictured below) from my Profusion palette all over the lower part of my lid
After that I swept some Nyx eyeshadow in frosted lilac.
I used the far left color in the Nyx eyeshadow trio to highlight my browbone and inner corner, then used the middle color to fill in my eyerbows
I did curl my lashes before applying They're Real, using my Forever 21 eyelash curler
I put Maybelline eyestudio gel liner on my bottom lash line only
then sprayed my face with Urban Decay's all nighter setting spray, my go-to for keeping my makeup on all night!
So that's a quick look I did when going to a friend's birthday. It was a while ago so sorry if some of this seems vague! You know I can't keep my head on straight.
